NEXUS 102 What can be said about the work of Nexus102? Many things. It encompasses a wealth of musical influences composed from hand selected ingrediants... samples which have been collected over the course of a decade, then carefully placed into the pot and simmered into a stew of heavy melodic beats with a touch of eastern influence. The congos, the tablas... instruments that are culturally worlds apart sharing the same space. It's metaphysical. It's spiritual. It's energy. I guess in reading this, one would gather that I'm a fan. Yes, you would be correct in that assessment. Sometimes you simply need music that immediately puts your mind at ease... immediately places your being into a receptive state... something which improves your clarity... and in doing so, improves one's openess to elevated levels of thought. TEUTONIC Born and raised in Detroit, now reside in Atlanta. Been doing music for about 10 years now. Music style consists of techno, DNB, jungle, dance, you name it. Influences include Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, etc. But, I grew up on Led Zeppelin and Hendrix. Go figure. My style is a little different than most, the songs are structured as any song is. Not your typical one beat repeated 10 million times, although some do that. I like putting variety in the songs, and every time you listen to a track of mine, you'll hear something different that you may not have picked up before. I hope that's good enough. Feel free to make it sound better if you care to. I don't have a pic or logo ready just yet, I'm working on that. I'm getting laid off of work here, so my attention has to go towards finding another job here real soon. But, as soon as I get something, I'll zip it to ya. I'm also going to try and put more music up this weekend, although that's not a definite.
